Since 2012, we have been running B2C sales promotions for our customer Hankook in the bricks and mortar tyre trade.
What started out as a pilot project is now an indispensible part of the national marketing mix of the tyre manufacturer in Germany, and the campaign combines attractive B2B, CSR and CRM activities.
Since 2019, we’ve also been promoting the retail activities of their sister brand Laufenn!
We’ve been handling the Korean tyre manufacturer Hankook since 2011 now. What started out as an attractive sponsorship activation at Borussia Dortmund quickly turned into a fully comprehensive communications consultancy service. Today, we produce all the printed material for the tyre business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, we run B2C and B2B communications portals, we produce social media content for the channels Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube.
Concept & creation
Benefit-oriented campaign mechanics are at the heart of everything for the two brands. When he buys tyres from the dealer, the end-consumer gets an immediate added value, while the dealer is incentivised retrospectively.
This means the buyer is tied to the brand and dealer which, in turn, reinforces the retailer’s relationship with Hankook. We have positioned the new, modern tyre brand Laufenn in line with their image using a partnership with the e-scooter manufacturer Circ in the future-oriented micro-mobility sector.
Implementation & reporting
With the start of the current campaigns in spring and autumn, part of Goldene Generation turns into Hankook and Laufenn campaign central. Production and shipping of promotional material packs, processing participants, all-day phone service and detailed customer reporting are all order of the day.
